Oven Baked Asian Burgers


Burgers are pretty easy. Really anything involving ground meat and mixing it together with random ingredients is easy. What? Did I just say I randomly threw ingredients in the burger mix? How careless of me! Whatever, it turned out to be a glorious accident so I must share it with you. 

If you like asian flavorings, this is for you. If you don't like asian flavorings...then I don't really know what to tell you....be more adventurous? You can top these off with whatever you'd like - I topped 'em off with sliced avocado and made a bun from tomato slices. Delicious!


  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos (or soy sauce if not strict paleo)
  • 1 cup broccoli slaw
  • 1/2 small yellow onion
  • 2 tbsp cashew meal (or a handful of chopped cashews)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt


  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Mix together all of the ingredients and form 3 patties. Place patties on an aluminum-lined and greased  baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping once 15 minutes through. Serve with whatever floats your boat.
