Easy Tahini Dressing

Since discovering tahini and it's many uses (cashew hummus...mmmmmm), I've pretty much fallen in love with the stuff. It's so delicious! For those of you unaware of what it is, it's pretty much sesame seed butter. Noms. Now, I personally have trouble eating it on its own, so I always enjoy it most when accompanied by other ingredients. I still usually make it the primary ingredient, I find it just tastes better with a little lemon juice or something like that. Which brings me to this 3 ingredient salad dressing (well I suppose 4 if you count the water). It's a breeze to whip up and tastes amazing and decadent over just about any salad! If you're ever in a salad dressing rut and are getting bored of just oil and vinegar, go ahead and give this a shot.


  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 2-3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Water for thinning


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the first three ingredients until well combined. At this point, it will be pretty thick. 
  2. Add water to the dressing 1 tbsp at a time until you reach your desired consistency. I usually use about 3 tbsp of water.
  3. Serve over your favorite salad or veggies!

Servings: Will dress about 3 salads
